LicenSys currently manages the complete personalised plate business in Tasmania Australia in partnership with the Tasmanian Government. This is a long term contract launched in early 2007 that encompasses the full range of marketing services including channel management, promotion, product development, and pricing strategy.

The Tasplates model utilises a LicenSys Designed web model which interacts securely with the Government Registration and Licensing Database. It validates requests and uploads vehicle registration data. Tasplates utilises four main channels to process transactions; a retail website, a motor dealer channel, a call centre and multi outlet Government shop fronts channel.

LicenSys and its Government Department partner have increased the rate of adoption and penetration of the personalised license plate market. This has been achieved through the launch of a new Brand and a range of new products that have been promoted using multimedia such as TV, outdoor, online and print advertising
