FOR A REMAKE - Due to plates being lost, destroyed, damaged or stolen. A transaction fee will be advised at the time of remake.

The following criteria must be met before the order to manufacture a new set of Personalised Plates can be accepted:

• The applicant must be the person registered in respect of the vehicle. If the applicant wishes the plates to go on a vehicle that is not registered in their
  
   name then they must complete a transfer of entitlement to the registered person.  
   
• The original Personalised Plates must have been lost, stolen or damaged.
   
• The applicant must provide the Personalised Plate Characters
   
• The Personalised Plate must be attached to the same vehicle.
   
• The vehicle must be currently registered and licensed
   
• If the vehicle was stolen with the Personalised Plates attached, the owner must notify the Transport Registry Centre on 0800 366 988.
